Philippe Lucas - Lifetime Achievement in Cannabis

Philippe Lucas, vice-president, global patient research & access of Tilray, was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award at the 2nd Annual Cannabis Council of Canada Honours Awards, in Ottawa earlier this week.

Philippe first became involved with medical cannabis as a patient and founded the Vancouver Island Compassion Society (VICS) in 1999. For 10 years, he dedicated himself, as executive director, to serving the needs of patients who might benefit from the medical use of cannabis. Strengthening his active community involvement, Philippe also served as a Victoria city councillor and Capital Regional District director from 2008-2011.
