Terpene Profile: Myrcene
Terpenes are a group of essential oils produced alongside cannabinoids like THC and CBD and are generally responsible for many of the distinguishing characteristics of different strains. Myrcene, classified as a monoterpene, occurs often in tropical fruits as well as in herbs and in cannabis. Its commercial applications have been mostly in the cosmetics industry.
